A newly discovered comet will be visible in late 2013! According to predictions, it will have an apparent magnitude of -16, which is brighter than the full moon. Don’t get too excited, though—predicting the brightness of comets is difficult (lest we forget Kohoutek) and there’s no way to be entirely accurate.

Nonetheless, it would be totally cool if this happened.
